The SK Test — a soroban and mental-arithmetic test you can take any time

Official tests run only a few times a year, and you have to travel to a venue.SK Test is, within Soroban Kingdom, any time our own test, which you can take at any time. Just like the real thing, each subject has a time limit and the marks come at the end all together. Pass and you get Certificates (which you can print).

Test rules

For soroban you take addition, multiplication and division one after another (only the subjects that level has), and the pass mark in every subject and you pass. Mental arithmetic is a single subject.

There is a 30-second break between subjects. During the test you cannot pause and cannot use "See how to solve it".

What comes up at each level

The digits and terms are What each level looks like table. 20th to 16th Kyu are beginner levels found only in this app, arranged in learning order: friends of 5 → friends of 10.

Certificates

Pass and a certificate appears straight away, ready to print. A certificate from a test taken at home is marked "taken at home".

How do you take it?

Open the app, go to "🏅 Test" in the left menu, pick a level and a test (soroban or mental), and press "Start the test". Levels 20–16 are free forever with no sign-up. From 15th Kyu up, use the 14-day free trial (no credit card) or a plan.
